Our Story
It is amazing to see all the beauty of nature around us! Our backyard started our motivation to get out and explore the areas around us. Bird feeders had a variety of birds that started to visit us and our curiosity to identify them grew. A wooded area found more wildlife and landscape that we enjoyed. This took us local parks, lakes, National Parks, Wildlife Refuges, etc... We realized how fortunate we are to be able to do this from a physical health perspective. Many people cannot get out to see and experience the beauty of the outdoors. We wanted to share our experiences in hopes that it can bring some of the beauty of the outdoors and wildlife to those who, for whatever reason, cannot experience it for themselves in person.
One thing we realized was that most of our photos did not come from long walks and hiking, they came from the car. Driving through the areas, being aware of the surroundings and looking to find the wildlife along with beautiful scenic pictures. Hense, the title "Photo's from the passenger seat!".
Our Background
My husband and I found that we truly enjoyed observing wildlife. This led to taking pictures and although the pictures were ok, we were not happy with the quality of cheap cameras or cell phones. We wanted pictures that were clear and up close. As we purchased some quality camera equipment and took some of our first shots, that even got us more excited to keep going, experimenting and get more photography equipment. My first photography class in high school was fun and enjoyable, but it is amazing how technology has enabled us to document our images. We are inspired by the love we have for nature. We look forward to being able to share the beauty we find with those who cannot get there.
